    Our guest room is located halfway up to the top of the mountain La Huma, in a quiet place, about 6 km from the picturesque village of El Chorro.

Our B&B is an ideal starting point to explore cities such as Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda, Antequera, Alora ... all accessible in less than 2 hours away.

Or for those who prefer to explore the region, it is certainly worth exploring the real, unspoilt nature and rich history of Andalucia.

  • Seville

    This beautiful city is located by less than 2 hours driving. It's also accessible by train from El Chorro station.

  • Cordoba

    Cordoba, very surprising city with its impressive Mezquita (Mosque). In a little less than 2 hours driving, you can visit, walk in its beautiful shopping streets or enjoy its cultural happenings ...
    Surely for all tastes.

  • Malaga

    Malaga, the city of sea, students, well animated. It offers: sea, beach, sun, food for tast, culture, music, very trendy shops in the marble paved streets, nightlife ... A mixture of old and ultra modern.

  • Granada

    Granada, famous for its Alhambra, is only 1:45 driving from the B&B.

  • The Alhambra of Granada

    This Moorish site offers you a picture of more than 800 years of Moorish occupation in its broadest form. To access it, you must book your ticket well in advance (see Links)

  • Ronda

    This city is divided in two by a groove. It is only 1:15 driving from here. To reach it, you cross the Sierra de las Nieves.

  • Álora

    Alora is a small typical mountain town in the interior of Andalusia with Phoenician, Roman and Moorish roots. This city has a very rich and important past. It's worth the visit. On Monday, there was the market.

  • Antequera

    Less known but no less beautiful, Antequera. This town is only 30 km or 35 minutes drive from here. This city offers a rich history, shops, the gastronomy ... A few kilometers outside the city, you'll find the natural park of "El Torcal" and the "Lobo Park" where wolves are roaming free.

  • El Torcal (near Antequera)

    This protected natural park, only 10 km outside the town of Antequera offers you a spectacular landscape wich was formed and eroded for millions of years ago. With some imagination, you'll see very spectacular formated statues into these stratified rocks. From upon El Torcal you will notice the bay of Malaga.

  • The little village of El Chorro

    El Chorro is a typical village originated during the Belle Epoque, which shows the buildings of that time as soon as you reach the square nearby the station .

  • El desfiladero de los Gaitanes (El Chorro)

    A t only 10 minutes drive from the B&B, you'll find this huge gap formed by the river over millions of years. In addition, you can cross it by a path (El Caminito del Rey) or even by the river canyoning.

  • El Caminito del Rey (El Chorro)

    This 7 km long trail, flanking the rock was recently restored. By this trail you cross the gorge giants enjoying splendid views of the over 100 meter high gulf eroded by the river.

  • The ruins of Bobastro, the prehistoric cave of Doña Trinidad to Ardeles

    About 2 km west of El Chorro, you could visit various sites, such as the prehistoric cave of Doña Trinidad, where you may see the prehistoric wall paintings. Otherwise you may visit the ruins of the Mozarabic Bobastro church with its very important Andalusian history. Either you prefer to enjoy nature, beautiful panoramic views ...

  • The 3 reservoirs of El Conde del Guadalhorce, Guadalteba and Guadalhorce

    These three lakes, with its blue azure colored water, span over three villages: Ardales, of Bobadillo and Antequera. They are located northwest of the Sierra de la Huma. One of the dams was built between 1907-1921 and was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921, which passed through the path of "Caminito del Rey" (the king's path) to reach that dam.

  • The coast of the Costa del Sol

    Lovers of the sea and the beach, and even the coast can swim in one of the beautiful beaches of the coast of the Costa del Sol (Marbella, Malaga), barely an hour's drive from here.

Our active guests will certainly have fun, especially climbers, hikers, mountain bikers, paragliders, ...

Hikers can even find connection to the GR249 and GR7 only 20 meters away from the entrance to our area. This hiking route, from the city of Malaga, goes in a big loop through the entire province of Málaga and this in 30 steps.

  • Climbing

    The region of the Sierra de la Huma is well known in the world of climbing. Many climbing organizations nearby allow you, regardless of your climbing level, to improve the performance of your climbing and to give you an unforgettable day or week.

  • Biking or mountain biking

    Cyclists will certainly enjoy the cycling through the mountainous landscape on all paved roads. Mountain bikers can even venture on the many mountain paths.

  • Canyoning

    You would like to do some canyoning?
    Near Coín, about 40 minuts driving, you can do some guided canyoning.
    Or if you would like to enjoy doing less professional 'canyoing', rhe river of Guadalmina, near Benahavis (at 1h40) might do.

  • Paragliding

    Just 2 km from here, you find Valle de Abdalajís, well known for paragliding. An extraordinary experience. You float in the air along the south side of the mountain of la Huma and even above the B&B.

  • Walking or hiking in the local area

    Hiking for all levels. You fancy a walk in the woods? Or rather a mountain hike with beautiful views over the Guadalhorce Valley or the lakes of the Guadalhorce river?

  • Reaching the top off the mountain La Huma

    For the more advanced hikers who need more challenge and who are not shy from some scrambling, the "highlight" ... -> climbing the Huma (1191 m). Incredible views over almost the whole of Andalusia.
    Certainly an unforgettable moment.

  • Water sports

    Water sports enthusiasts will be sure to have what they desire,
    because in addition to our own pool (5 mx 10 m), there are three large lakes just 10 minutes from here, where you can swim, do pedal boating (pedalo), kayaking, fishing, ...

  • Recreation on the lakes of Ardales

    Many recreational organizations are within reach to Ardales Lakes.

  • Skiing in the Sierra Nevada

    Skiers will only drive two hours to the village of Pradollena, to be able to take advantage of 83 km of ski slopes. For those who would like to make a detour to the south of the Sierra Nevada, you will find the Alpujarras region.
